Each piece is thoughtfully made in small batches to minimise production waste, using responsibly sourced materials and put together by our SMETA and ISO-audited manufacturer. We are committed to providing affordable luxury, which embraces sustainable style — both in your wardrobe and on the world around us.
A LITTLE NOD
'Lyán' (roughly pronounced as 'lee-yan') is more than a name; it is homage to the founder's Chinese heritage and the legacy of powerful women and loved ones who have shaped her journey. The name itself means 'lotus flower' in Mandarin Chinese - a symbol of resilience and purity. Our namesake is a tribute to the women who blaze trails with love and grace, with many forms of strength and tenderness.
We reference the roots to the founder's heritage through the octagonal patterned stitching of our bags - the 'bagua' shape often used in Chinese culture and feng shui, signifying balance and the interconnectedness between all things.
